CMOSVision wins the Innovation Prize for its product Image Correction Processor (ICP) at Machine Vision 2005,
which is the most important world-wide machine vision exhibition and took place between 8-10 November in Stuttgart Messe.
The ceremony took place on Tuesday 8th November evening. A press lunch was held on the same day where our CEO Georg Israel gave a brief talk about the company.
The event was well recevied by the professional publications and by Swiss and Turkish press, countries where CMOSVision has offices.

CMOSVision is exhibiting its latest innovations at the
VISION 2005
18th International Trade Fair for Machine Vision and Identification
Technologies
It would give us great pleasure to meet you at VISION2005, Hall 1.0,

Our latest design project:
ICP Image Correction Processor
has three highly specialized co-processing units that enable it to
full-fill the computationally complex tasks with a minimum of
algorithmic delay in the video display chain.
Main ICP tasks are:
- advanced exposure control
ICP can be calibrated and adapted to the sensor specific characteristics
such as the pixel transfer characteristics and its influence to the
different high dynamic features.
- colour processing
colour processing consists of three main tasks, which are:
Bayer pattern de-mosaic
white point correction statistics extraction
colour space transformation
- calibrated lens correction
is the most advanced operation of the ICP
we have developed a special pipelined co-processor unit that enables us
to implement a novel geometric distortion correction and vignetting
correction algorithm that operates in real time on video stream.
