The X8 Smart Line Camera family is fully customer programmable allowing the maximum flexibility for the individual customers to design the desired processing capabilities into the camera. The family has a user expandable Image Processing Pipeline. This expandability leads to endless application specific functionalities to be added in.

All X8 Smart Line Cameras are in field re-programmable via USB 2.0 interface.
